Life is Life

If life was easy it wouldn't be a satisfying life to live,
but when life is hard, you may only wish for it to be over.

An easy life would involve being very happy all together,
to appreciate what you have,
to be able to say goodbye to those you care about
and to appreciate the ones that aren't leaving just yet.

An easy life would involve having an abundance of things you want and need,
while you don't have to lift a finger to get it,
to always know that whatever happens you have a safety net to catch you
if you ever happen to mess up.

But a life well lived is being able to strive for what you want
and feel satisfaction because you know you earned it,
to learn new things everyday about anything,
to just love life as it is, with whatever you have,
to feel de up's and down's of life as it happens.

And to know that you are important to another being,
and to try and make a change in anyway you can.

This is how I want my life to be lived, not for the happiness, but to know that I will be remembered and somehow make a difference in this mystery of a world!
